Version 1.0
Effective June 23, 2026
Security Overview
Every client project entrusted to Digital 2Moro carries business value. Whether we are building a corporate website, web application, mobile application, marketplace, learning platform, analytics dashboard, automation workflow, or customer portal, our responsibility is to deliver systems that are reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with responsible digital operations.
Our security approach is built around practical protection. We focus on reducing preventable risks, limiting unnecessary exposure, protecting access to sensitive systems, applying secure development practices, and helping clients operate digital platforms with greater confidence.
Compliance & Security Alignment
Digital 2Moro is not currently presenting itself as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or formally certified under any specific external security audit framework. However, our internal security practices are informed by recognized principles from modern information security, privacy, and secure development frameworks. Related governance commitments are documented across our Compliance, Governance & Operational Security, and Data & Privacy pages.
- Security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles.
- Least privilege access management.
- Secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Risk-based vulnerability review and remediation.
- Responsible vendor and technology partner assessment.
- Documented incident response and escalation procedures.
Data Security
Digital 2Moro handles client information, project materials, access credentials, design assets, documents, website data, application data, analytics information, and business communications with care. Data security controls are applied based on the sensitivity of the information and the nature of the project. Our broader data handling commitments are described in Data & Privacy and our Privacy Policy.
- Confidential data: client credentials, private business documents, user data, project files, and sensitive operational information.
- Internal data: Digital 2Moro working documents, delivery notes, internal procedures, and operational records.
- Public data: website content, marketing material, published portfolio information, and public-facing brand assets.
Encryption & Secure Transport
Digital 2Moro applies secure communication practices to protect information during transmission. For websites and web applications, HTTPS/SSL is treated as a baseline requirement unless a project context clearly does not require it. These controls support our wider Infrastructure Security approach.
- HTTPS/SSL configuration for websites and applications.
- Secure transmission of forms, logins, and user interactions.
- Protection of API keys, tokens, credentials, and configuration secrets.
- Use of trusted hosting, cloud, and platform-level encryption features where available.
- Secure handling of backups, exports, and sensitive project files.
Separation of Environments
Where project scope allows, Digital 2Moro separates development, staging, and production environments. This helps reduce the risk of unintended changes, protects live systems, and allows testing before updates are applied to production.
- Development environments for building and testing features.
- Staging environments for review before launch or major updates.
- Production environments reserved for approved live systems.
- Controlled deployment and change review before important updates.
Product Security
Security is considered during the design and development of websites, web applications, mobile applications, portals, dashboards, booking systems, learning platforms, marketplaces, and other digital products delivered by Digital 2Moro. More detail is available on our Product Security page.
- Secure development practices during implementation.
- Code review and functional review where applicable.
- Input validation and protection against common form abuse.
- Authentication and authorization checks for protected areas.
- Safe integration with third-party APIs and platforms.
- Review of plugins, themes, packages, and dependencies.
Infrastructure & Network Security
Digital 2Moro uses trusted hosting providers, cloud platforms, SaaS tools, and technology partners to support delivery and operations. Infrastructure security controls depend on the hosting architecture, client requirements, project type, and selected technology stack. See also Infrastructure Security and Vendor & Technology Partners.
- Secure hosting configuration where under our management.
- SSL/TLS enforcement for public-facing web properties.
- Restricted administrative access to hosting and control panels.
- Backup configuration and restoration planning where applicable.
- Monitoring of uptime, errors, and relevant operational alerts where supported.
- Reduction of unnecessary exposed services, plugins, and public endpoints.
Identity & Access Management
Access to client systems, internal platforms, admin panels, repositories, dashboards, hosting accounts, analytics tools, email systems, and shared files is managed according to role, business need, and the principle of least privilege. This is also part of our Organizational Security approach.
- Role-based access permissions for websites, apps, and dashboards.
- Multi-factor authentication where supported by the platform.
- Limited administrator access for users who do not require full control.
- Secure handling of passwords, tokens, API keys, and privileged accounts.
- Access removal or adjustment when a project, role, or engagement changes.
- Preference for user-based access instead of shared credentials where possible.
Threat Detection & Monitoring
Digital 2Moro uses monitoring and review practices to identify suspicious activity, system errors, service interruptions, outdated components, abnormal login attempts, and other security-relevant events. These practices support both Security and Operational Security.
- Website uptime and availability checks where applicable.
- Review of logs and security alerts where available.
- Detection of suspicious login attempts and abnormal access patterns.
- Monitoring of outdated plugins, themes, packages, or dependencies.
- Escalation of security concerns for investigation and remediation.
External Attack Surface Management
Public-facing websites and applications are naturally exposed to the internet. Digital 2Moro aims to reduce unnecessary exposure by limiting public access to only what is required for the service to function.
- Reducing unnecessary plugins, pages, endpoints, and exposed services.
- Securing admin login areas and sensitive dashboards.
- Reviewing public forms, upload areas, and user-generated content flows.
- Applying spam, abuse, and bot protection where appropriate.
- Keeping public-facing components updated and maintained.
Organizational Security
Security is also an organizational discipline. Digital 2Moro expects team members, collaborators, and delivery partners to handle client information responsibly, protect access credentials, use approved tools carefully, and report concerns promptly. More detail is available under Organizational Security.
